a focus on Central and Eastern Europe. EETEK develops clean and renewable energy solutions, operates independent energy assets and provides sustainable energy services to its clients.
EETEK is currently extending its business into renewable energy projects (wind,
solar, biomass) and we are seeking to employ up to three business analysts in our head office in Budapest. Main scope of work in these positions will be to support our business development team in terms market and project anaylsis as well as project development.

Specific skills
Business degree (MBA, Master): focus on strategy and/or finance
Background /experience in the energy and/or finance sector, ideally and
specifically in renewable energy (solar/photovoltaics, wind, biogas)
Background in engineering and/or finance, or related fields
Up to 3 years of work experience in the energy/finance sector

A private international hotel operational consulting firm seeks hospitality professionals with strong hotel operations backgrounds to fill a unique and demanding position. A typical consultant for the firm has a successful managerial background in hotel and resort operations, has achieved positions on the executive committees of well known luxury hotels, has lived and worked in multiple countries and speaks their languages, and has a degree from a prestigious hotel or culinary school.

Requirements:
Must possess a minimum of 4-5 years of executive level hospitality/culinary operations experience. Extensive knowledge of and managerial experience in food and beverage is particularly desirable. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in different countries and with various cultures. Must be a great communicator, possess excellent writing skills, and have complete fluency in English. Proficiency in other languages, particularly Mandarin and/ or Cantonese, is very desirable as well. Excellent organizational skills. Candidates must travel 18 days per month to all continents, be detail-oriented, able to work independently and to adhere to project protocols. Relocation is typically not required, so long as one lives near a major airport.

Group Sales Director - luxury hotel

Position is responsible for prospecting, account development and confirming business on behalf of this 120 room 5-star, internationally branded city hotel in accordance with the objectives established in the sales and marketing plan. Position ensures that sales activities, top accounts and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per available room.

Previous hotel group sales experience is required and European territory experience is ideal. A proven track record of successful sales results and an established client base are highly desired. Ideal candidate will have strong relationship building and management skills.

The ability to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends is required. The candidate must have EU citizenship or paperwork to be considered and must possess a strong knowledge of both English and Italian. Other European languages are desirable but not necessary

Ass. Engineering Manager - luxury hotel

The same 5-star hotel as above is looking for an individual who has project management skills, evidences a strong work/ethic, shows adaptability and flexibility and leadership skills.

Applicants are required to have previous management experience in hotel or building engineering maintenance. Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job or through a series of professional certifications.

Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment. Requires knowledge of blueprints, wiring diagrams and hydraulics. Ability to read, speak and write in English and Italian, and must have EU citizenship or documentation to work in Europe.

Residential Compound Manager

Overall responsibility for the complete operation of two large residential/office compounds located in the southern Sudan. The residential compound contains approximately 50 guestrooms, gym, pool, health club, kitchens servicing an a la carte restaurant, bar, and banquet/catering facility, tennis courts, and a full communications center, along with all fresh water, laundry, and waste systems. All facilities are of excellent quality. The office compound houses office space for 100, a conference building, warehouses, satellite communications and support facilities. Guests stay for both the short-term and long-term, and many dignitaries also reside in the facility when visiting the region.

All 40 to 50 staff members report to this operations manager position. Both this job and the camp manager positions below will be working with Cornell Hotelies within a company that provides remote African site project support needs and provides the highest standard of service in remote areas and often under difficult conditions. A specialist in rapid response, the company's extensive logistics and support services experience, equipment base, and reputation for quality have resulted in its providing key field support services to the United Nations, international development organizations, multi-national companies, exploration companies, and film and television crews. This compound operations manager position is senior to the facilities managers below, and thus qualifications will include a minimum of three (3) years of overseas professional managerial/supervisory experience, along with college-level/professional training in hotel management or a related field.

Candidate must be a US citizen, and hospitality general manager experience in remote locations is preferred. Strong rooms and food and beverage experience is essential. Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in hotel administration, sales and marketing, or related field.

  • Solid knowledge of who is buying what and when in the marketplace and where can these travel products be sourced.
  • Strong knowledge of the US leisure travel market, understanding of supply/demand/seasonality, and the vacation package market.
  • An extensive and active network in senior management within the cruise and tour industries.
  • Previous experience in the OTA world is a plus.
  • A good deal maker with outstanding negotiation skills and a proven track record.
  • Leadership capabilities and an entrepreneurial spirit, good in execution and resourceful.
